This year the Blenhiem Palace Horse Trials are running from the 8th until the 11th of September
The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials are now firmly established in the eventing calendar with the world's best riders as well as the thousands of spectators who come each year to watch the event.
The cross country is over a slightly shorter course which is not quite so demanding. This competition consists of dressage, show jumping and cross country it is a key step on the pathway of those aiming for international sucess. A maximum of 40 horses will be invited to compete.
In addition to the eventing action there are lots of other activities in other arenas. These include the Dodson & Horrell-sponsored Pony Club and Riding Clubs team competition on Thursday and Friday, the Tri Zone BE100 Eventer Challenge on Sunday in the Bladon Arena, and a range of equestrian and other displays within the Blenheim Attractions Arena every day. There are also many other displays and attractions, and more than 175 retail outlets !!
